I managed to run the game smoothly at around 70-80 FPS with the highest settings on my RTX 3080, but I noticed some stuttering. Is this a common issue? Also, what do you think about the game overall?

You might be observing the 1% or 0.1% dips while gaming. When using a graphics card, the contrast between peaks and valleys can be quite large, which you'll likely see. Consider capping the frame rate at 60 fps. This may reduce the visibility of those lows and prevent noticeable stuttering.

So far everything is fine, though some sounds are really bad. The first-person perspective in vehicles feels unstable. Still, you can definitely stick to "Only in Battlefield" content. I’ve been repeating familiar moves like switching helicopter seats and dropping C4 on drones—those things always make me smile!

The beta looks alright so far, but it feels a bit off. There are some shots that seem to miss, the interface feels quite plain, and when you take or lose a sector, a big block of text pops up at the top which is really distracting. Also, certain weapons don’t have enough ammo.

I missed the download last night before bed. I have about eight minutes left so I should be able to play at least one round before work. The performance seems tougher—70-80fps at 1440p with a RTX 3080 worries me. It looks like it’s much more demanding than BF5 was. Is the ray tracing enabled or disabled?

The visuals remind me of Battlefield titles, with some Star Wars and Mirrors Edge elements. It doesn’t look terrible—it’s decent but not particularly unique. The gameplay feels repetitive; most movement is just running around without much purpose. Occasionally you’ll encounter enemies hiding in bushes, which forces you to restart from scratch, making it feel tedious quickly. There are vehicles, though they’re not always available. Enemy detection is tricky, and the models seem tiny compared to expectations. Overall, I’d prefer Warzone if you have a capable setup, but Battlefield might still appeal to fans of its style.

I own and played several Battlefield titles including BF1942, BFV, BF2, Bad Company, Bad Company 2, and BF3 (skipped BF2142). I haven't purchased any Battlefield games since it seems the series has declined after Battlefield 3, making me lose interest. BF2042 feels like the strongest entry so far compared to BF4, but many aspects still don’t appeal to me, and it doesn’t seem enough to bring me back in.

I seem to stand out among others according to what I've seen, yet I really enjoy the experience so far. The gameplay vibe feels quite alike to BF4. I appreciate how it works across different platforms, which makes it simple to play with friends and family who use consoles. I'm not fully convinced about the operators yet; in the beta only four are available. That limits you to just four character models on a 128-player server, which feels a bit odd. I favor the traditional class system, and it seems like operators could be a way to add microtransactions, though it doesn't stop me from playing. Plus, I'd like the option to rent private dedicated servers.

I've noticed some stuttering lately. My setup includes a Ryzen 3700x and a GTX 1080; the graphics card seems to be the main issue. I haven't managed to purchase another GPU yet. There are reports of players with higher-end cards like RTX 3080 or 3080Ti experiencing similar problems, plus frequent frame rate drops. So far, the game seems fine, but visuals could improve. Differences in character camouflage can cause confusion, and some weapons need better balance—like DMR's ammo supply. EA/Dice hasn't mentioned custom servers you can set up yourself, which is what keeps Battlefield 4 active. I'm uncertain whether to buy the BF4 version.
