Do you really need that? You can pick a log scale for the amplitude graph instead; it could actually help a bit.

In this audio file, the light blue color in the middle is probably the RMS value. When I opened a file and saw that light blue rms area, https://manual.audacityteam.org/m/images...otated.png, how would you adjust those sections?

In Audacity I figured I could drag the RMS slider under the envelope section and change it. Is there a way to set this automatically? And what if I want to use NCH Wavepad instead? How do I change the RMS there?
