What do you do?
I've been away from gaming for over a decade now, and suddenly I'm back in the PC scene. There are far more choices than Steam offers. Amazon, Origin, Ubisoft, Epic Games—what should I do? I thought Steam was enough, but it looks like I might miss some titles. What a confusing situation! Haha
Select any installer that suits you. I picked Steam since it offers a user-friendly interface, makes finding games across various genres straightforward, and updates are handled seamlessly.
It's a normal part of life. Some companies merge, like EA joining Steam and Ubisoft choosing Epic. Older games tend to be more accessible on both platforms, but now options seem limited. It can be really annoying. Fortunately, Steam allows you to create shortcuts for other programs, making it simpler to manage everything. Just keep track of what you own—it's often a headache. Hopefully, Apple will fix this soon!
Epic Games offers a few free games each week, often with multiple titles available. Amazon Prime Gaming occasionally provides free Steam keys, exclusive items, and special deals on their Luna Cloud service if you have a Prime membership. Personally, I don’t take part in these offers. The only PC games I play are Star Trek Online and Company of Heroes 2, both accessible via Steam.
