Most hardcore gamers still favor wired mice. A few years back, many avoided wireless due to issues like lag and other problems.

I think most eSports players rely on wireless technology now. I saw a recent tech video mentioning that 20% of players were using the Logitech Superlight at an FPS tournament. I’m not at that level, but with today’s low latency wireless options, it’s hard to distinguish between wired and good alternatives. The Superlight has become my top choice for FPS games.

Logitech wireless (any model from G series) offers low latency and high polling rates. You can use a wired connection if needed.

It would be absurd if they did that, you're going to add 6-10 milliseconds of delay by using wireless. Sure, it's not a lot, but it's still an issue. But I'm not a big supporter of wireless technology, particularly when the device you need to connect to is quite far away...

Modern gaming mice show a significant improvement, with latency differences under 1ms for the quickest wireless models.

I love a mouse that feels great even after extended gaming sessions. Wireless options are my choice since cables often get in the way during intense moments.
