I own an old Canyon 9BD2AS-E board and want to upgrade the CPU, but I’m struggling to find any information about it. Most of what I’ve found seems in Russian or unreliable. Anyone have an old manual or a list of compatible CPUs for this board?

It seems you're targeting an older Socket 478 system. The Intel Pentium 4 and Celeron chips are likely the most suitable options.
