The system runs well with many cores but struggles with single-threaded games. To balance performance, you’ll need a chipset that supports both, which tends to cost more. I’m unsure how the 5600X will fit on the board—may require BIOS updates. The alternative is the 3700X, offering two extra cores at a similar price, though it could consume more power. Blender's GPU processing is significantly quicker than CPU-based rendering. Viewport speed relies on both CPU single-core performance and GPU capabilities. A CPU with many cores helps only if the GPU is already strong enough, but it still offers flexibility for running other tasks. What are your current hardware details?

5600x will show much better speed in single and multi-core scenarios compared to a 2400G. The main issue is that the motherboard lacks sufficient VRM power to fully utilize the 5600x. I’m also interested in the detailed specifications. Upgrading the RAM could help the system reach its optimal performance.
