I’m looking to upgrade my PC with a 4070 Ti and need guidance on the best CPU choice. I’m considering the i7 13th Gen but want to understand if there’s a performance bottleneck. I’d appreciate any suggestions beyond that, especially since I prefer Intel chips and don’t want to spend over $600 on a CPU.

I believe it's challenging for people to provide definitive responses at this stage. Still, maybe someone can offer an informed estimate. With the GPU not yet available or no tests completed, it might be wise to wait until reviews are published. More detailed analyses will likely lead to the right answer.

These processors and the GPUs you mentioned will work perfectly together.

A 13600K works just well, or a 7600X/7700X also functions fine.

According to @FrowningHippo, securing a 13600k is sufficient for gaming. It's nearly indistinguishable from the 13700k in terms of performance. You're likely to hit a CPU limitation at 1080p, especially with top-tier graphics cards.
