Hey everyone,
I'm facing a major issue with my ASUS TUF FX504GM. After upgrading my RAM, I need to adjust the DRAM and Frequency settings. Usually I do this through BIOS or UEFI, but there aren't any XMP, DRAM Settings, or AI Tweaker options available under Advanced Options. I'm confused about why that's happening. Could someone help me out?

It operates at 2666mhz. DDR4 uses Double Data Rate Version 4, and 1333x2 equals 2666mhz. Occasionally, the reported RAM speed appears as half of its clock speed due to this configuration.

If it looks like this then your chances are low:
Watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxUK4QCKKDM
Modded bios flashing unlocks many features but I don’t want to suggest it because it could damage the laptop. Unless you have a SPI programmer ready, it might be risky to try and recover it.

What bios software does it use?
The manuals often overlook bios details since they assume users are unfamiliar with it, which complicates things for those who care about it.
It might not include AI Tweaker, as most laptops aren't designed for overclocking.
Bios features can be quite simple.

Laptops are generally not designed for overclocking or adjusting settings, and having control over XMP is often limited.

Well, I'm not keen on pushing it too hard. The new RAM I received is meant to operate at 2666mhz with different timing settings. According to CPU-Z it's actually running at 1333mhz and the timing issues are causing problems. It seems the laptop performs much worse with the 16GB compared to the previous 8GB version.

Can you share an image of the CPU-Z memory tab?

It seemed like he was about to mention something else after sending the picture, possibly indicating another problem with the laptop.
