your windforce gtx 970 4gb is ready for overclocking. you'll need to adjust the clock, memory, and core voltage settings in msi after burning the burner.

I understand you're curious about the limits of overclocking.

As rgd mentioned, each card behaves uniquely, making you the sole candidate to determine the maximum overclock for your current GPU.
Review different GPU benchmarks for Windforce 970 to gauge what others might achieve with their identical cards.
Load the Heaven Benchmark, set it to Extreme Preset (Window mode), and begin by increasing the core clock by +20MHz. Run it for a minute; if it runs smoothly, continue adding another +20MHz. Repeat this process until you notice any issues or crashes. Adjust the core clock back to its last stable value whenever you encounter artifacts or failures.
Next, reset your core clock to the default setting and follow the same steps with the memory clock. Here, you can incrementally raise the memory clock by +50-100MHz at a time. Once you reach a point where it crashes, reduce the increase to +50-100MHz again. This should stabilize your overclock.
Finally, validate your setup by testing it in various games and benchmarks, ensuring consistent performance. If any other crashes occur, fine-tune accordingly.

If you grasp that, it might not be an issue for your card.
