What components need to be replaced for the USB Mini-B cable assembly on Corsair Vengeance K65?
Hello
I need a replacement USB Mini-B cable assembly for the Corsair Vengeance K65. Unfortunately, 3 out of 5 pins linking the internal USB Mini-B female have broken off.
Pictures of the damaged component are available here:

Here are a few cables that somewhat match the original, but they use a screw-on cap for the ports:

Corsair Support states they don’t have access to schematics or blueprints for their devices since they aren’t publicly available. I get it, but let’s focus on the USB part. I’ve owned this keyboard for about eight years and don’t want to replace it just yet. The keyboard is still in good shape despite the faulty USB.
Could you help identify the exact components needed to repair it?
Thanks
Sure, you can just strip the ends and solder it directly to the board right now.
I considered trying it out. I'm curious about Corsair's decision not to do this first. Since I don't have much soldering experience, I think it would be better to take it to a local repair shop or get a new mechanical keyboard. Part of me just wants to keep it going.
Soldering isn't overly difficult and it's a useful ability to develop. There are some good reference videos that can assist you in starting. However, from a budget perspective, it might be wiser to invest in a new keyboard. Still, if you're aiming to learn a new skill while maintaining functionality, understanding soldering could be beneficial.

I discovered what seems to be a fitting alternative from AliExpress:

If this Type C modification fails, I will proceed with purchasing a new keyboard
