I anticipate posting in the correct forum section since my subject connects to both the motherboard and memory topics. If not, kindly relocate it to the relevant area. My system uses a B550 AORUS PRO V2 with four TridentZ RGB sticks. They are currently set to "normal" mode (rainbow RGB), but I intend to switch to custom RGB for the first time. My question is whether my motherboard supports all the ports needed for the RGB setup I want. My plan includes: 1x NZXT RGB & Fan Controller, 6x NZXT F120 RGB Duo Fans linked to the controller, and control of TridentZ RGB via the same unit. The controller needs a USB 2.0 header and an SATA port. The case will likely use a USB 3.0 header (NZXT H9 Flow). According to the specs, there are two addressable LED strip headers and two RGB LED strip headers. Will the RAM RGB wire fit into these or require a separate device? You might consider purchasing a set of F120 RGB Duos with a standard NZXT controller—given the motherboard has two USB 2.0 ports, adding another hub should work fine.
