Were any recent Office updates leading to problems or altering its functionality? I haven't switched to the new version, but I'm experiencing several issues. Emails are disappearing, sent items aren't saving, and the interface appears different.

Microsoft recently added a “Focused” view to the Outlook inbox, which causes some messages to vanish. Turn it off and check if your emails reappear. What version of Office are you running?

In such situations, it's difficult to determine the exact status without more details about your email provider, server configurations, and related factors. If it's using IMAP or Exchange Server, the simplest approach is to remove the account from Outlook and then reinstall it. Are the messages still accessible through the web interface? For IMAP, Thunderbird tends to be quicker and more dependable.
