Damn buddy I just trashed my 4 year old HX1000 and switched to RMx750, now you are making me nerves about having Corsair again...
I was hoping to get an EVGA but they crazy miner raided them all, there is no available stock for any brand over 850W within 2 weeks
🙁
Don't want to pay $20 to return it and get a refurbished one that might not work well, especially since the PSU blew up my GPU and I don't want to see it again...
I placed an order for this baby (link provided). Overall, I'm spending around $185 on a PSU, which is quite a bit. Last year I spent $800 on the 2080 Super, so I think getting a matching PSU makes sense. I'll check once it arrives to see if it solves my problems.
Verify the link, check for availability.
Edit: I thought I misread it, but the Corsair is already there. For the price it's been a great PSU, perfect for my modular setup. Corsair produces reliable products with solid warranties. I might have damaged mine from power surges. I used to live in a basement with unstable power and could have ruined it.
Sure, let me explain. I’d like to know more about your setup. You mentioned having all DDR4 RAM, two RGB Corsair 16GB Pro (32GB) units and another 8GB Vengeance stick. The total is around 40GB. You’re wondering if these components might be interacting negatively with each other.
you combined different manufacturing methods. the speeds and latency don't affect the outcome here. ram is confirmed to function in the package you received. this means it's included in a kit, not purchased separately and assembled later. occasionally mixing succeeds sometimes fails—try removing the Corsair stick to check for rebooting issues. also, avoid any overclocking of the ram during testing.
I'm sure I'll give it a shot and let you know. Appreciate the input! I see myself as tech-savvy, though I'm always eager to improve.
