Hello.
Recently I faced a problem that I’m not sure how to resolve, so I hope someone here can assist me.
The issue began with my screen flickering—more like switching between a live feed and a black screen. It occurred during gaming and also while browsing the web, but it was only brief and happened once a day. Afterwards, the screen remained clear for hours. The flickering lasts only a few seconds before the display goes dark.
Over time, the problem has intensified; now the flickering initiates and turns into a complete black screen. Audio remains intact, and the power button on the monitor stays on.
I’ve tried several solutions: turning off the PC, performing a factory reset on the monitor, switching outputs between PC and monitor (including HDMI on the motherboard), deep cleaning my PC tower, re-socketing the GPU, updating drivers for the GPU and monitor, and disabling Multi-Plane overlay.
None of these steps resolved the issue.
My current setup includes:
- CPU: Intel i7-10700K
- Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix Z-490F
- RAM: HyperX Fury DDR4 32GB
- Storage: Intel 660p 1TB SSD/HDD
- GPU: GeForce RTX 4070 TI Gaming X Trio 12GB
- Power Supply: Corsair RM850 x V3 850W
- Case: Svive Halo S650 Midi tower
- Operating System: Windows 10
- Monitor: LG 45GR95QE - 45" UltraGear OLED Gaming monitor QHD 0.03ms 240Hz with G-Sync Compatibility

I purchased the PSU, GPU, and monitor about a year ago, and this is the first time I’ve encountered problems with either the GPU or the monitor. I’ve also reached out to LG support about the monitor, but my request hasn’t been resolved.
I’m trying to confirm which component might be faulty before deciding on warranty action or attempting a fix without returning any parts.
Thank you in advance for your time and help.

I'll ask some of my friends if they can lend me something, but right now I don't have anyone who could help me quickly.

Viewed the post and updated. I managed to create a short video about the problem. Initially, turning the monitor on and off didn't help, so I powered off the PC, which then worked again.
