Hi, it's possible to safely increase your CPU's clock speed to 4.2ghz. There are many tutorials available, just choose one that matches your motherboard. I managed to reach 4, but the temperatures were very high (around 80°C in the early 1990s).
Don't create multiple threads for the same problem. One was for the GPU and another for the CPU, sorry for the mix-up.
