It's a fun question, but I've been away from PC building for a while now. I tried to help find a cable for a friend, but I got confused about where to place it among the different parts. It's clearly an internal cable, but I wasn't sure which category to choose. Thanks for your patience!

USB 3.2 Gen 2/3.1 Type C header inside your case. Check if your motherboard includes it—usually near the 24-pin ATX port on the right. Which one do you own?

I don’t have any specs above USB 2.0 on my motherboard… this is just a friend’s picture. That explains why I haven’t noticed it before! My equipment is outdated.

We were merely attempting to recognize it, that's all. Appreciate it!

I was curious about the motherboard you're using, so I could verify the presence of that connector. If it doesn't fit, remember the USB Type C port on the case won't help.

Yes, I have the same issue but it's an older model. The USB 3.0 ports on my case are turned off because my motherboard can't handle them. She probably has one, but with the Type-C port I'll fix that. I want her to know about it.
