I recently purchased an RX 580 2048SP GPU and needed a new power supply since my current one didn't work. I'm wondering if the one shown is suitable for my setup. My system details are: H61 m4 motherboard, i5-3470s processor, 8GB RAM at 1666MHz, and a 500GB SSD drive.
The PSU appears worn because it seems to have been used before. Consider opting for a 550W model with extra capacity rather than a 400W one. My decision is against the unit listed above. Also, try to limit multiple threads on the same subject to prevent confusion.
These power supplies are insufficient for the job as highlighted. The second option might function, though only slightly. Considering its age, I wouldn't rely on it. You must never compromise on a power supply—it's essential for your system, and failure can lead to serious issues.
My intention was to emphasize the importance of considering the question before making a purchase.
It's quite outdated with such low power output compared to modern requirements.
