I built this setup specifically to run Diablo 4 at low or medium settings. What are your thoughts on it? Are there any improvements you'd suggest? Could the cost be reduced further?

The specifications seem acceptable, and according to the official system requirements, you should be able to play it at medium/high settings. However, what resolution are you aiming for? 1080p or 2K? What monitor do you have? A lot depends on the screen resolution the game is being played on as well.

On that decision you're all set to proceed with this game. There don't appear to be major concerns with this mid-range setup for Diablo 4 and other less demanding games. What's your ideal budget for a rig? 550 USD or more would be fine. If you have the means to spend a bit extra, I'd consider upgrading the GPU and PSU for better performance, even though the PSU isn't top-of-the-line but should still work well for gaming.

I might think about using a more affordable A520 board, replacing the CPU with a Ryzen 5 5500. This could help stretch your budget further and allow me to look for a more affordable RX 6600 instead of the A380.

I'm aiming to optimize my setup and achieve the least required specifications for Diablo 4 on medium settings. You're asking if MicroATX is the recommended motherboard, how it affects the build, and whether you need a different CPU or case.

Most a520 boards are likely micro ATX. However, a micro ATX board should still fit a mid tower or full-size case. In fact, I have the exact case you chose and a micro ATX board inside it. You’ll need to add fans. It can handle up to 6. Based on your budget, I’d recommend something similar.

A more affordable option is available here.

For a motherboard recommendation, this one would be a good choice.

I own a model that seems to include BIOS flashback. The one I received from microcenter was already updated for Ryzen 5000. The price difference appears to be only a few dollars more than the A520 boards.
