I’m not very familiar with laptops, but what do you think of these two? They seem quite similar in terms of specifications. A friend mentioned the i5 is better than the i7—does that sound right?

I’d choose an i7 equipped machine because they offer comparable storage and RAM, along with a similar screen size. If you’ll be using it all day at home, battery life isn’t as crucial—just having access to a power source is enough once the battery drops to around 10%.
