Upgrading my gaming PC to a system capable of simultaneously recording and playing games, utilizing a Ryzen 2700x for encoding in OBS. I play Star Wars Battlefront 2 and desire high-quality recordings without significantly impacting in-game frame rates. I seek OBS settings to experiment with once the CPU is installed, targeting a bitrate range of 30,000 – 60,000 for 1080p at 60 FPS, considering both game play and recording simultaneously.

If rendering at 60,000 bitrates, utilize the fastest x264 presets for optimal results. Experimentation may be needed, but these fast presets should perform well.

If rendering at 60,000 bitrates, utilize ultra-fast or the fastest x264 presets for excellent results. Experimentation may be required, but these settings should perform effectively.

Does it significantly reduce in-game frame rate? Will the recording experience stuttering?
