Understood. We can use the site to "build" your system and provide guidance if needed. A discussion thread in the Systems section would be helpful for advice on new builds or upgrades. *How to Ask for New Build or Upgrade Advice* This comes from adapting the Animal's *How To Ask For New Build Advice* post, which many people are now seeking on forums and CPU sites. I developed it because there’s a growing number of requests for upgrade suggestions here and elsewhere. forums.

I've been sharing details about these technical problems before listing all the parts for advice. After your excellent assistance, I'm considering returning one of the smaller SSDs I ordered or both to get a larger one instead. Either way, I'll keep you updated once everything is resolved! Thanks!

Obtain a tiny USB flash drive.
During the Windows setup, the 1TB would be converted to 32GB.
Reverting it back to 1TB would be a trouble you don’t need.

I feel like a little child tripping over themselves, trying to avoid hitting their head into corners, but thank goodness everyone is helping me out!

I purchased the Pro license just to utilize the Windows Sandbox. It proves to be very helpful for trying out applications prior to their full installation.

That sounds really interesting! The Pro license on my work laptop is limited by the organization's settings, but I feel more flexible than others since I've shown myself to be tech-savvy (even though my posts here suggest otherwise). Still, I'm sure I haven't explored all the possibilities because I didn't know Sandbox mode existed!

Oh absolutely, i dont mess with the laptop much at all. The only stuff i do is stuff i can find 100% clear answers for, so its really just been basic things relative to all the questions ive been asking about the build im planning.
But thats also why i needed the build haha, i understand the security policies are necessary because most folks have no idea what anything in a computer does, let alone sufficient foundational understanding about technology to know where to start. So keeping a tight leash absolutely makes sense. But, despite how basic my questions have been, im able to pick up on the answers after yall repeat them once or five times, and more importantly, i know to come here to ask them. So im just excited to work on something properly sophisticated with the capacity to learn at a high level
Believe me though, i take plenty liberties, im just at the barrier of the ones i can take without full control of a device haha
