Some time ago, I encountered this issue and resolved it successfully. Following that, I updated my computer system entirely, resulting in a fresh setup. Lately, for approximately one year, I've been experiencing the frustrating occurrence of my games unexpectedly closing without warning. I am forced to repeatedly click on the program itself to return to the game. It’s incredibly irritating to lose a Street Fighter match due to this persistent and baffling malfunction. Could you please assist me in determining the root cause of my computer's behavior?

Specs:
i7 6700k with H100i watercooling
Z170-E Motherboard
MSI 1070
Evga 750 watt power supply
Corsair Vengeance LPX 8x2

It appears the Windows key might be causing an issue. Certain gaming keyboards offer a feature to disable this key if that’s the source of the problem.

I would decline that, as it persists even without touching my keyboard. While playing Street Fighter with a dedicated controller, I continue to experience this problem.

Could the control device be losing and regaining connection currently?

It is highly improbable that the USB cable will fit snugly. I don't foresee it becoming loose or detaching.

I confess I’m lacking inspiration at the moment. I've personally utilized Xbox controllers and haven't experienced this issue before.
