You rely on common keyboard shortcuts like CTRL+F for documents and internet, saving time with tools such as internet/documents.

Ctrl + C, Ctrl + V, Ctrl + X, Alt + Tab, Alt + F4. I missed the superscript and subscript codes, but they helped a lot in my lab report.

Use the shortcut to check if you need an explanation. Press Windows + P to pick a second screen, then Windows + D to view the desktop. Windows + E opens your computer settings. Alt + Tab, Ctrl + Alt + Del, and Shift + F1 show the Steam overlay. Media keys on a keyboard are recognized.

This list was put together by /u/rugtoad[1] with his note. Here are some key points:

- ALT+TAB now mimics the "enter" function—essential if you're using a computer for over five minutes.
- WIN+TAB on Aero themes gives a more intense version of ALT+TAB, and it doesn’t trigger the obvious “click” sound.
- CTRL+X/C/C/V: Basic actions like cut, copy, paste.
- CTRL+F/H: Search or replace tools.
- CTRL+A/Shift+Arrow: Select or move text.
- CTRL+Backspace/Delete: Remove characters or words.
- Windows Task Manager: Advanced controls.
- Keyboard shortcuts vary by browser and app—check what works for you.

Some notes:
- Many shortcuts behave similarly across browsers.
- Use these wisely, especially if you spend long periods in front of a screen.
- Explore further with tools like Visual Studio or VS Code for deeper customization.

People commonly rely on quick methods rather than detailed histories.

A thorough compilation is helpful, and it highlights some quick options that might be handy, since not all users rely on Visual Studio or Facebook, for instance.
