I purchased two units of this product and adjusted the BIOS to XMP with the listed timings. The BIOS and AIDA indicate a speed of 3600, while Windows reports 2666. AIDA shows 2600 in multiple places but lists 2666 once. What could be causing this discrepancy? It might not be a Windows issue, and there could be other factors affecting the reported values. I'm unsure what the actual speed is or why it differs between tools.

Try CPUz to verify the actual performance. It displays the genuine clock speed, which helps compare accurately.

Attempted to use CPUZ but received no response. Memory and SPD fields are empty.

Install the newest CPU-Z version, then verify again. Your CPU or motherboard could be incompatible with the outdated CPU-Z edition.

It seems the system displays 3600, but you're wondering if that's correct. You mentioned you could try recreating the XMP settings to see if it matches.

I'm using a CPU with DDR4-2666 speed and a specific motherboard model.

Based on my observations, Gigabyte BIOS tends to be problematic. You can adjust your DRAM settings yourself with the Ryzen calculator available online.

You can figure out how to use it by checking the available presets. If you're unsure about legal steps, it might help to consult a professional or review the guidelines provided. Don’t worry if you’re not tech-savvy—most instructions are simple.

The BIOS version F33c isn't listed on Gigabyte's official site for the X570 Aorus Master boards (neither v1.0 nor v1.1/1.2). You might consider updating to a newer release like F33 or F34 and check if it resolves the XMP issue. For detailed guidance, visit the support pages:
- v1.0: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/X57...rt-dl-bios
- v1.1 / v1.2: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/X57...rt-dl-bios
