I’m not sure if I should get serious evaluations of my mental condition or if this PSU backplate design is wrong. I’ve been working on this build since Saturday and am feeling really tired. What’s going on? Please send help. PSU MSI MPG a750g case Lian-Li Lancool III RGB

Consider your guidelines carefully... you seem to be missing the thumbscrews. (I noticed one on the table.) The entire setup should allow installing the PSU from the back. Also, if this is your initial computer, make sure to follow the motherboard manual. Most common problems new builders face are addressed there. (Of course not for this specific guide, though other tips apply.)

I attempted to use the thumbscrews, but they don’t fit into the case’s frame. Observe the openings on the left and right sides of the cover—they protrude rather than go inward.

From the images it's tricky to determine, but I suspect the power supply unit is flipped (based on your search results), which likely explains the misalignment. The PSU fan should point downward, not upward. Since the plate appears symmetrical vertically, you can just rotate the whole assembly (including bracket). Still, it's difficult to confirm from the photos.

Are there additional thumb screws available? A YouTube review mentions one, suggesting it could be permanently fixed to the bracket.

It seems there are various versions of thumbscrews available in different lengths. I mistakenly applied the longer ones to my top panel. They appear identical at first glance. Appreciate you helping me out!
