It varies by individual. If you criticize consoles and the users, it can seem negative and may discourage some PC gamers. Many avoid it because they encounter rude behavior from those who dislike consoles. Some appreciate the straightforwardness of consoles, just like I do. I also dislike criticism of Apple or Android users.
It's amusing when used as a joke. When others fail to recognize it's meant to be funny and instead take it seriously, it can be frustrating.
It varies based on who makes it, whether they're informed or have practical experience. If they're confident in their knowledge, I'd value their views. But if it's merely to grab attention, it bothers me.
