Check out some fresh picks that really hook you. Try something intense where grinding feels rewarding—maybe a deep RPG or a challenging strategy title. Avoid the usual favorites like LoL and HoTs, stick with Dota 2 if you want, but skip StarCraft 2. WoW isn’t my thing either. BF3 and CSGO are solid fun, but look for lesser-known gems you haven’t tried yet. No MMOs allowed!

I've been playing this for about five years now. Kerbal Space Program is really time-consuming. Lineage 2 might be the right fit for you. P.S. I think it's not what you're looking for, but Insurgency is a great game and you can get it cheaply on Steam.

I began to try it once, but there were lots of people without clothes, shooting at me while running around, which was pretty odd for me.

You remind yourself you’ll finish this round and then see the dawn.

Choose Insurgency or KSP next. The first one offers a realistic experience, perfect for those who enjoy this genre. It feels like a CS game but set in a very realistic world (you can die instantly with weapons like ammo types, C4, RPGs, scopes, etc.).

Agar.io sounds similar to a multiplayer game, maybe with a feature like `-`. Cookie Clicker is another option you mentioned.

Well then, Rust, Bethesda games let you keep grinding endlessly through every quest and leveling up. GTA Online feels like a grind for money and roleplay, but I don’t find it really addictive. The culling can be hooking, BL2 is super repetitive, and Dark Souls keeps you coming back just to master the mechanics—like learning how to perfectly parry and defeat an enemy after trying for minutes.
