In reality, beginning and ending the system places greater stress on parts than maintaining it continuously. The sole justification for shutting down the PC each night would be energy conservation.

I've been away for a while due to life circumstances. I've tried both the good and bad drives by changing cables, but the problem persists. On boot, the warning LEDs on the DRAM always turn orange for about 20 seconds before changing to green and then booting normally. My RAM is functioning correctly, and there have been no other issues, though I've enabled Expo1 on them. I'm not sure what's happening, but it seems like I'm stuck with a 30-second startup time.
