It's starting to look like my RAM is the problem, so please give me back my old CPU and let's do this test over again.

Okay so I put everything back to stock and didn't crash but after 2 minutes of testing, my CPU temps got up to 89 degrees. So I turned it off just in case. It's probably my RAM because it's really old and wasn't even good to begin with when I first bought it. When I run some PC benchmarks, they say that my RAM is the biggest problem holding me back.

Update: I tried turning my core down to 43 instead of 45 and the computer still crashes, but now it takes about two seconds instead of being instant. Another useful fact is that when I set everything in my BIOS to AUTO, it sets my cores to 4300mhz.

Do you think it's the RAM?

Sorry I didn't reply! It feels super high for an i7-4790K stock CPU when testing under H100i, especially if you don't have AVX support. Can you tell me your pump cable is connected to a fan header that's set to run at 100% duty cycle?
