Hey, I saw your temps and voltages too. After running the virus scan, you noticed the temperatures spiked a lot. With a 5950X processor and H100i V2 cooling, it’s normal for heat to rise during scans. The CCD#0 reading versus CCD#1 could be due to differences in sensor behavior or temperature gradients. Consider using HWinfo64 for testing. Run Cinebench 23 to evaluate maximum temperatures. It appears the CPU throttles as expected. Which cooler are you employing?

H100i V2 isn't optimized for the 5000 series, that's why. You'll need another cooler with a different cooling plate design. Slightly improving the cooling could help if you switch thermal paste. I suggest Arctic liquid freezer II 240 to 420. A balanced option is the 280 if you have limited space.

Another choice is the EK line, which GamersNexus highly praises as a comparable alternative. Would you like to know if maintaining maximum boost clocks is possible with a sub 1.3 core voltage? I adjusted the VCore on my MX-5 and managed to keep it under 1.4V with minimal temperature changes. With the 64-bit firmware, I noticed spikes reaching 95°C even after downvolting—still a bit hot in my apartment, though it's around 90°C sometimes. Would a 280 rad fit into the 011 Dynamic? I wasn't expecting anything over 120mm variants to work either.

Sorry for the delayed reply; I wasn't available last week, but thanks for getting back to me! I reduced the speed using the offset setting in my BIOS, not sure if that was the optimal approach. I watched Optimum Tech's YouTube video and followed his instructions. Would it be better to opt for a complete custom loop kit from EK here, or should I stick with an air cooler? I generally prefer avoiding cooling solutions that bring heat back into the GPU. I've also checked some Alphacool options; their build quality looks solid, though I'm not entirely convinced yet.
