H100i V2 isn't optimized for the 5000 series, that's why. You'll need another cooler with a different cooling plate design. Slightly improving the cooling could help if you switch thermal paste. I suggest Arctic liquid freezer II 240 to 420. A balanced option is the 280 if you have limited space.

I adjusted the VCore on my MX-5 and managed to keep it under 1.4V with minimal temperature changes.
