Hello, welcome! I recently moved from Malaysia and just switched my router to a new 300Mbps wireless model. I connected my LAN cable instead of using Wi-Fi, but my ping is really poor—around 30, then spikes to 800 for a second before dropping back to 30. It’s causing big instability. I’m trying to figure out what settings to adjust at http://192.168.1.1 to fix this. I got smooth performance when streaming or downloading, but my ping gets worse during games. Do you have any tips?

Running that command checks connectivity to 192.168.1.1 and measures response time. The process will take approximately two minutes, allowing analysis of network latency points.

Ping results for 192.168.1.1 show all packets transmitted and received as 100. No loss detected (0%). Round trip times range from a minimum of 0ms to a maximum of 0ms, with an average of 0ms. The data seems consistent but the format is unclear.

This indicates your connection speed is strong. Every packet arrived successfully (a positive sign).

I’m sure my internet connection is solid and my download speed works well. I can stream in HD, but during gaming the latency spikes suddenly—like a jump from 30 to 800 ms and then back down quickly. It feels unstable and frustrating.

Google responded with several messages indicating different time values. The first listed was 32, the second 32 again, then 70, followed by 32, 32, 160, 40, and finally 30.
