You just received Star Citizen from AMD Gold Rewards and installed it. It seems you're unsure about the next steps. Let me know if you need guidance!

At CatCloud it seems unless you purchase an arena commander pass, you're limited to just moving around your hanger. Edit: but you still can't fly the Mustang yet.

You likely created your account and uploaded your code already. The Mustang isn't currently flight-ready, but it should be available soon alongside the Avenger. Visit the RSI site, navigate to Account → Hangar → locate the AMD Mustang Omega, click it and check for mentions of Arena Commander or racing/Murray Cup. If not present, the promotion likely ended and included both items. You can purchase the required passes for $5 each without needing them, but having beta access and access to the Hangar is essential. To proceed, return to your Account Hangar and configuration—there should be a button to drag your ship onto a platform. If you need further clarification, feel free to ask.

Currently, the only option I have is managing the arena.

Sure, the FPS and planet updates are scheduled for next year. There will be additional developments as well. The project is still ongoing if you weren't aware.

You're lucky to be enjoying Arena Commander. Many early supporters won't be able to continue playing for a long time unless they invest more money in module access passes.

Chris Robers mentions upcoming FPS module, planetside social module, and the initial single-player campaign content. It seems we might receive alpha/beta versions or a well-refined product by 2015.

It should be a beta; the final stage is uncertain. Until we receive a V1.0 PU release, everything remains alpha/beta. We anticipate the PU version by late 2016 or early 2017, assuming no delays. No official announcement has been made yet, but I suspect V1.0 might come later than expected—around late 2016 to early 2017. At that time, every Squadron 42 episode should be in beta form (five episodes spaced three months apart were the last they mentioned). I expect the storytelling to be nearly complete, but if ships, stations, weapons, planets, and both flying and FPS mechanics are still under development, it can't be more than a beta. I'm confident the assets in Squadron 42 will be polished first, which is why Bengal and Javelin are prioritized for heavy focus this year. From Citizen con 10/10/14:
