At the end of 2016, officially we'll check if that situation remains at CitizenCon.

I put the game on hold until it was released, then discovered this video. I've played it several times over the past months and months, and the dog fighting was really disappointing. I struggled to hit anything and it just felt terrible. The presentation really impressed me; it matched what I expected. I wasn't particularly interested since much of it was already available. The game is running fine for me, mostly around or just under 30fps, though I think that's mainly due to the poor netcode and server issues. He mentioned improvements would come in version 3.0. I'm back in it, even after playing again now. I've spent a lot more on this game than before—bought a new console, effectively doubling my investment. This game and SQ42 are going to be great, and I'm eager for the updates and the final release.

Previously, things were simpler with fewer rubberbands and a more stable flight model. Trying to shoot without preparation would likely miss everything, just like now. Adjusting quickly and learning the aiming took time and patience. AC has always been a standout feature of Star Citizen for a long time, and it really delivered.

Just to confirm, I’m not sure about the exact time I last played, but back then I didn’t go online and just used Arena Commander with the vanduul swarm. Everything worked fine except my aim was off. The target indicators didn’t appear, so I had to guess where the shots landed. I tried restarting, but it kept happening the same way, so I stopped paying attention. Eventually, it was fixed, which is what I hoped. For me, the dog fighting part was frustrating because guessing shots was hard, but now it’s resolved.
