Day 2 Another hour passed yesterday afternoon (had to pause because I was yelling at the system—it kept getting killed while trying to coordinate the mouse and keyboard, something I’m not used to). Two hours ago (this morning between 1am and 3am). Still stuck in the same intense fighting style (I realized I might need to switch weapons: should I pick one I feel comfortable with, or does each enemy require a different one?). I discovered a mod channel on YouTube, but it’s been around for years and there are so many mods. It seems like a whole community exists around them. I was aware there were many mods, but the volume still caught me off guard. I also tend to take everything, at one point even stealing three copies of a sword and keeping just one, plus two copies of another… Five hours on the first day, getting pulled in. [1] I felt awkward at the father of the guy you follow out of Helgen’s house, hearing him say “any friend of ??? is a friend of mine” while I was stealing his plates. It’s really strange how a video game can influence my feelings.

Open the console, type "player.forceav carryweight 80000". This will let you collect everything. Just remember, some NPCs might get angry if they see you taking items, and they could try to harm you or lock you out of the game.

Been a while since i've seen a post about Skyrim, but here is my generic copy paste regarding mods etc. It's best if you start by looking at the Skyrim GEMS , and once you've exhausted those, try out the Skyrim Nexus . Another option is to follow channels like Brodual or MMOxReview and see them showcase some mods you may wanna try. Pro tip: don't touch anything on the Steam Workshop, as it's full of AIDs, and the mods have poor support, or simply put, are complete and utter shite. Also, SkyUI is a must have. (requires SKSE for full functionality) The rest is down to personal taste, however you should definitely use the unofficial patches. You can find them here , here , here , here & here . They should not conflict with any mod, i myself have tried countless mods since the game's release and had no conflict caused by these patches.
