Open the Details section, arrange by processing power, and examine which components are consuming your CPU time, then tap memory (you might have to zoom in).
It's an outdated setup which causes sluggish performance, especially when using Task Manager. Right now it's consuming around 70% of the CPU at times. I'm not sure what Chrome is doing to make things worse. There are some screenshots from Task Manager showing this issue. This machine has been sitting here for a while, and I have no idea how to fix it.
Restart Windows, look up ways to improve performance, disable poor services, and remove all tracking data. This should significantly enhance your system. I do this across every computer I own.
It hasn't shown any unusual activity or high CPU usage. It seems to have been running for more than six days, which isn't unusual. Rebooting might help resolve any issues.
