I understand the subject isn't the most informative, but I'm experiencing several problems that appear connected. 1 - Every time I restart Windows, Firefox launches with identical four tabs even after closing some before rebooting; it doesn’t use bookmarks. 2 - ESET antivirus consistently reports a general compiler error during updates. 3 - Any files or folders saved to the desktop revert upon restarting again. 4 - Windows refuses to reinstall or repair itself, repeatedly stating failure each time from within via the media creator. 5 - When attempting a clean install from USB, it blocks me from managing my NVMe HDD (mentions MBR, GPT issues). I suspect an SSD failure, as I don’t have other motherboards that support NVMe and can’t test a replacement. I also attempted a BIOS update but saw no improvement and lost my overclock settings. Anyone have suggestions for further troubleshooting?

Edit - I've encountered some random bluescreens recently, though the event logs only note unexpected shutdowns during idle periods, not crashes. They occur mainly when the system is idle and not under heavy load.

It seems the SSD is definitely having issues. I've tried several tools—diskpart, Aomei Part Manager, Disk Management, and even WinPE—but none worked. It wasn’t read-only, and no BitLocker or similar software was installed. The drive is only 240GB of Kingston NVMe storage, which isn’t too costly to replace. It’s frustrating, especially since most of my custom parts arrived just in time for this problem. Hopefully, it’ll be fixed soon so I can move forward without these setbacks.
