Weird problems with new pc

I built my first PC about a month ago. It’s been facing a bunch of minor annoyances. First, the mouse stops working or only responds to 10% of inputs—especially with the Logitech trackball. Sometimes unplugging and replugging it helps. Second, occasionally the screen goes black, but it clears once I switch HDMI ports. Third, my keyboard keys keep opening my calculator, though I’m pretty sure this isn’t the computer’s issue. The system runs Windows 11 on an I7 12700K Artic liquid freezer with an MSI Z690 edge Rog Strix 3070 750W power supply.

Gather all the software from your motherboard vendors (MSI) and install drivers. Set up your trackball mouse and keyboard if available. Remove any connected gamepads when not in use. You may have an issue with a faulty HDMI connection. In short, make sure you thoroughly check everything before proceeding.

I checked for drivers and added them. If everything is set right, I think the MSDS site confirmed I’m up to date.

Screen blackout might signal a failing monitor. How long has it been this way? Could be due to a faulty cable. What’s your temperature?

Conditions are pleasant overall, but my OLED TV isn't performing well. The screen remains dim, usually hovering around the mid-60s brightness.

It is a mouse that only a year or two old. But out side of that no idea, i do wish logitech didnt own the trackball patent so other companys could make them

You can find Amazon essentials or Kensington trackballs. I tried one before, but it didn’t work well for shooting games, so I bought a dedicated gaming mouse instead.
