I tried to modify my CPU but couldn't locate the OC option in my BIOS. My processor is an Intel Core 2 Duo Q9400. Updating the BIOS didn't help. Here are some pictures I took.

Usually, prebuilt PCs don't offer the ability to make changes. I'm sure yours is one of them.

the only method for a firm like HP to let you boost their PC's performance would be through a gaming variant of a particular model. I question if they would still permit such an action.
