I just installed the dolphin emulator and tested Resident Evil, Super Smash Melee, but encountered some strange graphics issues. Here are my settings:

Let me know if you think this is the cause!

Update your drivers as Windows 7 and newer may not support older games.

Reduce your graphics options significantly and take a big step into much simpler settings. Focus on anti-aliasing adjustments. If it improves, gradually raise the levels until performance returns to normal. Dolphin works well on my son’s machine. I gave Melee a try but it didn’t work out.

I understand this. Remove 4xssaa and replace it with 8xaa. Any form of ssaa appears to trigger this issue. The only way I can use ssaa is since I have a 980. Therefore, I use dsr and set the resolution up to 4k instead of ssaa.

As mentioned, switch off SSAaaS and opt for MSAaaS. I receive identical results using both methods.

Adjust your settings and try different configurations. Update your GPU options, experiment with OpenGL, DirectX 9, or DirectX 11. Use default Dolphin parameters if unsure. Switch between openGL and DX9/DX11 for compatibility. Run the games with standard Dolphin defaults.
