Webinar Software
This might not be the most suitable forum for this topic, as I wasn't able to find a more appropriate one.
I need to organize two three-hour webinars for a non-profit group I'm part of. Each session will include a PowerPoint and three to four participants explaining the slides. The presenters should be able to interact with the material.
Previously, we used Adobe Connect. It felt too complex due to its outdated interface. The monthly fee was $130, and Adobe stopped reselling through Digital River, which only offered annual plans. I would have to pay upfront for a year even though I'd only need it for two weeks.
I've explored Zoom and Google Meet, but neither supports meetings longer than an hour or accommodates 100 attendees.
Adobe Connect offers the unique feature of uploading the entire PowerPoint for online presentation, allowing presenters to control slide navigation or share from a screen.
I require:
- 100 attendees
- 3-hour sessions
- Annotation and drawing tools
- Recording capability
- Ability to share recordings later
- Option to view sessions at a different time
Could anyone suggest an alternative?
I also checked Go To Webinar, but they require a yearly payment. I prefer Adobe Connect since it fits my needs.
You may consider exploring Cisco Webex, Bluejeans and Microsoft Teams. All are readily accessible through a google/bing search.
Bluejeans wasn't on my list at all. I haven't heard of it before. I'll check it out. Thanks.
