Adjusting the page file size won’t resolve lag problems. You’re essentially forcing Windows to utilize more of your SSD or HDD as memory, which is much slower than RAM. If your internal memory is nearly full, changing the page file size won’t make a difference because the data you already have will block the space that Windows needs for RAM. Windows can’t overwrite existing data on your drives for RAM. Eight gigabytes isn’t sufficient; you should install at least 16 GB of real physical RAM on your motherboard.
