The weapons in Bf4 are typically accessed through multiplayer, with each item having its own unlock conditions. Various Bf4 weapons and gear need specific achievements: some depend on reaching a certain score with a particular weapon class, while others require completing tasks within the game. You’ll notice a progress bar labeled “Carbine Score,” indicating how many points from carbine rifles are needed before the weapon becomes available.
For the Campaign, weapons are obtained by capturing enemies and other means, then used to progress. In Multiplayer, you gain access by finishing tasks or accumulating points within weapon categories. Remember, campaign-acquired weapons don’t carry over to multiplayer, and multiplayer items can’t be transferred back to the campaign.
You gain access to firearms by accumulating high scores. Focus on landing headshots for better results. Collect weapons from defeated foes, which will make them available for later use in supply containers. In multiplayer mode, unlocking a weapon requires first mastering the initial model (such as DMRs, shotguns, snipers, or PDWs). Once you've built up kills with those types, additional variants become available. For instance, heavy use of PDWs will grant more of that class. I think you’ve unlocked nearly all weapons except a few assigned ones and DMRs, which I consider low-effort and unworthy of use.
