It works well on bigger screens. The main issue here is that only a limited number of apps support it. If it were a regular Android feature, more options would be available.

Many low-quality add-ons were installed, including a poor dialer, bad SMS features, and a merge tool for contacts. The overall experience was disappointing, with everything replaced by an AOSP version.

KitKat brought significant improvements in performance and security. The white theme now looks much more appealing. For those expecting a major overhaul, it's best to wait until version 5.0.

The Google Now Launcher functions solely on Nexus devices. Google Now isn't effective beyond the United States.

Google now is amazing...I live in the UK and it does everything walk up to a movie theater tells me times ect ect. And i didnt know it was nexus only...as im using a nexus 4 my bad. But you are incorrect google now works just fine in the UK I would also like to add that unless you are on a Nexus or Google plat edition device you are not really going to notice man changes as the manufacture of each phone make the UI which in most cases in my opinion is horrible and terrible such as sense and touchwiz. Pure android is the best in my opinion.
