I recently assembled a Silverstone ALTA G1M build. The case requires Wi-Fi extension cables to move the antennas outside. I wasn’t aware these cables aren’t included and had no idea what specifications are needed. The recommended length is roughly 20-50cm. I searched myself but found many options with SMA connectors, emphasizing the importance of cable type and resistance. It’s unclear if my motherboard affects the setup, but I’ll note it here. Here’s the manual for reference: any assistance would be very welcome!

50 ohm works well. Ensure the cable supports at least 6 ghz.

Ensure you select the appropriate connector type—SMA or SMA-RP. The distinction lies in the pin placement: male or female. I recently discovered that ordering the incorrect 50Ohm extensions was acceptable.

I require an RP-SMA male to RP-SMA female connection, but it's tough to locate compact options. The cables I found (1m RG-174) only handle around 3000 MHz, which might be an issue for longer runs.
