I've encountered a similar issue after updating hardware and software. I set up a flash drive to reinstall Windows but faced persistent errors. The repair tool didn't work, and attempts to download it to the SSD or hard drive also failed. I'm looking for a solution that doesn't require wiping the SSD, especially since some files are important.

What does 0xc000000e mean? 0xC000000E, or STATUS_NO_SUCH_DEVICE, indicates a hardware failure or an incorrect drive configuration. Check your cables and check the drive with the diagnostic utility available from your drive manufacturer. ................ I resolved the issue by starting the computer without connecting the hard drive, but appreciate the guidance.
