Right, so this is your basic n00b "wtf am I doing" post. I got a Cyberpower prebuilt and there's something wrong with either the RAM or "other" as I am getting BSoD every half hour with memory management issues. First step was of course, dealing with Cyberpower for two months (advice, don't make that your first step, NO CUST SERVICE). Step 2: Replace ram sticks and hope it was faulty and not a more expensive issue. There I am stuck. I have an Adata XRG DDR4 Stick but have NO CLUE how to find a mate or upgrade on Newegg. Halp! I swear computers weren't this hard in the 90's

Preparing the system isn't the main solution—reset CMOS, refresh BIOS, and verify RAM one at a time.

Yeah, tried both, neither of which did a thing. Also there's only one stick of ram so I have to get new ones anyway so I can test if it's THAT stick or the slot or board (I have no spare sticks).

The rig's main component is the motherboard, which defines its overall specifications.
