Np, thanks for your time. I noticed on other discussions in the WD community that no one provides assistance for that company... and if a drive or hardware component from them breaks, it's just as it is. You paid for the product and accepted the chance of it failing. I’m not sure about buying something new; instead, I plan to attempt data recovery. I’ll reach out to the hardware department at my office to check if we have any tools to inspect the partition and clone it. I’ll keep this post updated with any progress.

If it falls under warranty, you should be able to file a claim. Uncertain about your location, the process might be tough, but give it a shot rather than giving up. If the drive isn’t displaying correctly (even CrystalDiskInfo should list it, without assigned letters) and consistently, then checking the partition and cloning seems improbable, and it could stop mid-transfer. If the data can be read directly from the NAND chip, that’s a different scenario but needs special gear and is costly. Any service for SSD data recovery won’t be inexpensive.
