Does anyone use WavePad Audio Editor?
I’ve been experimenting with it. I managed to import and edit audio files, then pressed the record button but received a message saying no audio input was selected. I chose Realtek audio, but now I can’t play anything. I went to WavePad options, selected Audio, and set the device to Speakers (Realtek) Audio—should that be enough?
I previously worked with the recording tab and it functioned properly.
I also checked the Windows Control Panel and performed an audio test, which worked fine with Speakers (Realtek) Audio.

Click the small speaker icon typically found in the lower right corner of the screen. A menu will appear with options for audio troubleshooting and settings. Try the troubleshooter first. If it doesn’t resolve the issue, explore the Volume mixer and Sound Settings windows, tabs, and properties. Another option is to check the Accessibility screens: WIN + I > Accessibility > Audio.
