I just set up a water cooled system for myself in a Thermaltake Bigwater 850 GTS with the specified components. My question is, can I manage my radiator fans based on GPU temperatures? I checked the BIOS and the board doesn’t appear to offer that feature. Is there software available that can use one of the board’s fan plugs for control? I understand several programs monitor GPU and CPU temperatures, but what’s the most effective solution?

If everything runs in the same loop, based on the direction of flow, your CPU temperature is likely to be higher than the GPU temperatures. You might be able to manage fan headers via the GPU temperature settings using the "speedfan" program. However, I haven't found any success with speedfan as it doesn't recognize any fan headers on my systems. Another option would be to purchase a fan controller that includes temperature sensors, which you can attach to both the graphics card and CPU.

I also face the same issue with speedfan. I wasn't aware of the fan speed control requirements until now, and my rad fans are 2 wire, which is why my hardware monitor in the bios can't manage them. I'm currently searching for 4-wire PWM 120mm fans with a top speed of 2000 rpm and CFM that match the fans on the rad. I'm confident my bios will be able to control the fan speed once I get fans that allow monitoring.
