Hello, you're considering the EK Gaming A240 watercooling kit and are curious about the available coolant options. You've noticed transparent and solid fluids in various builds and are unsure which is suitable. You mentioned mayhem pastel as a solid-colored option but noted it's not compatible with aluminum radiators. You're looking for a solid-colored liquid for your EK A240 setup.

1| For color in your loop, opt for colored tubing.
2| If you're selecting the A240 kit, consider reaching out to EKWB to find out which liquid is best suited for that loop.
^ Previously, EKWB partnered with Mayhems, which explains why the pastels on EK's store and site match those on Mayhem's.

I understand that for EK's Aluminum kits, they suggest using EK coolants to avoid corrosion, especially better than copper/nickel loops. They have an EK clear coolant suitable for this purpose and recently released some new EK coolants with color (as mentioned by Lutfij).

The EK A240 kit should include a bottle of this coolant—either colored tubing (also referenced by Lutfij) or food-grade coloring added to the liquid. I've used this method before and it works well. Alternatively, you can look for dye colorants on sites like Performance-PCs.com or Amazon.
